High Efficiency Cutting Edge Interpolating Mill for Non-ferrous Metals
The AT-2 R-SPEC high-efficiency interpolating cutter (ThreadRacer) is designed to dramatically reduce machining time in non-ferrous metal applications such as aluminum alloys due to its continuous helical cutting capability, which combines drilling and threading in a single process. The AT-2 R-SPEC is also effective as a countermeasure against cutting position misalignment in cast holes.

Use RPRG to reduce workload RPRG is the tool radius offset reference value. Conventionally, the tool radius value is entered during setup as a parameter of the NC system, which is corrected by checking the thread with a feeler gauge.
